The 2025 fundraising Gala was held in Houston, TX, from September 26^th – 28^th, 2025. The theme of the gala was “supporting students’ learning in the age of AI.” The project for this fundraising is the building of an e-library for Anglican Girls Grammar School, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.

The Friday gathering was a dinner event sponsored by the Houston members. There was plenty to eat and drink. The evening was used to give out the journal for members to distribute to those who advertised through them.

The Saturday event started with a general meeting to discuss and plan for the gala night.  Two board members joined the meeting briefly. The vice president spoke on the place of the holy spirit in our lives.

The gala event was attended by more than 100 guests. In alignment with the theme for this year, the keynote address was on the fundamentals of AI, couched in the title “Driving a better future through artificial intelligence.” The night had good music and food, and most importantly, it was charged with a feeling of something great happening as the two masters of the ceremony poked the audience to support the cause.

The award for the “Philanthropist of Our Time” was given to Senator Daisy Danjuma. This was received on her behalf by her niece.

The weekend concluded with Thanksgiving service held at Abounding Love Christian Center, Houston.
